His old profile says that he went to Dayton University, now he has a new profile on Facebook with the young lady on his back and he says she is his daughter who looks totally different from the other girl in the old profile. I was laughing so hard at one yesterday that I answered him back with my own " sad, widow, lonely" story. He professes you are his wife, with poems and the like. The also claim to be "new" to FB and that's why they found you (another angle they use to get the sympathy vote from their victim " I'm so lonely since my wife passed & need friends or love)Then the game begins and I still get these messages to begin this "relationship ". I really wanted to find love again AND someone who could help me do good with my money. I was well off financially because my husband died suddenly & I was without family and was very lonely but had no idea how to proceed with my life (& money). He is very wealthy so you have nothing to worry about. This actually shows the ignorance of the scammer or that they are new to the scam game. They are all Widows & have one child that is in boarding school because he has to work on an oil rig. ) They are 9 times out of 10 white, I'm the age bracket of 50-55. If you look at their FB page it shows either NOTHING as far as posts, pictures, anything that a normal person would have OR if you look at it a little bit there is all pictures of African American men with pictures supporting who they really are, with pictures of life in Nigeria, posts written in a foreign language and such.
One pucture he has a bright yellowish jacket with multicolored shirt and glasses. I also threw in that I was very used to a husband that had to go away for long periods of time for work & I actually preferred this because it's the way my husband I lived for over 20 yrs. After he replied (2nd PM only) he was so captivated with my heart, soul and down to earth qualities he somehow felt he was falling in love with me & it must be fate that he found me! The "shell" of one of these scammers on FB are always the same: They PM you with either a "I was looking for new friends on FB and you are so beautiful I had to contact you" or a straight out "I'm looking for love ....." Blah blah blah.
